lmao I just realized in one of the earlier posts I made today I think I said this was a live remake... even several months before this film came out and only the trailer was available like. This isn't a live remake, because everything is CGI lol so srry if that bothered you from a previous post but I'm too lazy to look for it and edit that out so lol

this film is a totally 100% a complete cash grab it's like pretty much the same as the original but sooo much worse. So much worse.

I can't believe it's only been 15 minutes of this film it really feels like so much longer than that. This film is really such a slow burn.
ANd yeah, when Karsten Runquist said this remake is pretty much like National Geographic footage but awful, I 100% agree that's exactly what I think this film is yikes

(ok it's really an hour and fifty-eight minutes but round it up it's basically TWO HOURS LONG MY GOD. also karsten said in his video essay i watched a while back that it's literally two hours long but idk I guess I pretty much forgot? Also I thought that maybe I'd have a different opinion than him at this bc I liked the Aladdin remake and it seems like he didn't? BUT OMG TIME IS GOING BY WAY TOO SLOWLY WATCHING THIS FILM)

I honestly feel so bad for the people who also disliked this film (which is pretty much so many of you) but watched this film in theaters like at least I'm in the comfort of my own home, I can watch YouTube videos or have HGTV shows running in the background on my smart TV while I'm watching this. If you watched this in theaters you pretty much haaave nothingg else to do BUT watch this film and that sucks that really really sucks

I mean in the original when Simba said he wanted to eat either a zebra or an antelope at least zebras and antelopes weren't there to hear Simba say that??? not sure why they felt like adding that to the remake

ok I don't know why but no one even bothers talking about the voice acting, maybe because the celebrities who are voicing them are so loved or whatever
truth is, I actually don't even find the voice acting all that great either. it's just... dull. and boring. But I mean, in their defense, it could be because the editing is that bad though hmm still the voice acting sucks in this film too sounds uninspired.

(This is around the 1:25:00 mark) ok the few minutes before after and during the "I killed Mufasa" scene were actually pretty good. Probably mostly because I didn't remember that scene that well? But still, actually good too? Wow
err, but then it goes back to its mediocrity and asinine-ness, and I get pretty bored again
