- The list order is by descending order of the popularity during the initial period of the season
- Any incompleted anime will be shown as INCOMPLETE. Any anime that is dropped is removed from this list.
- Types are in an order similar to MAL: tv series, ona, ova, movie but excluding specials
Best anime of the year:
- Two categories: TV series and Movie
- For TV series: Can be a sequel but no ova, ona or specials
- For movie: can be a sequel
- Ratings may not affect a huge margin as rating included core genre but this evaluation is based on every aspect (such as enjoyment, art, songs, character development, plot progress, story content, introductions and ending).
- The perks of Best Anime of the Year receive a 10/10 (For example if the show's rating I've given is 9, it will be shown as 9/10 (AOTY: 10/10) and the rating will be switched to 10/10 in MAL).
