My Username
*** (11/15/17): Name Changed from "Ratohnhaketon" to "Bayek" ***
Ratohnhaketon - My first username is the Native American (Mohawk tribe) name of the protagonist in Assassin's Creed 3, Connor Kenway. It loosely translates to "scrapes/scratches away life" or in other words a hunter/predator.
Bayek - My second and current username. It's the name of the main character from Assassin's Creed Origins.
Background -
I've been fascinated with anime ever since I first turned on Kids' WB when I was 8. I started with basic things like Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh but eventually graduated to Toonami and Adult Swim when I was 12. I watched anime on and off as just something to casually enjoy until 2011. I stopped watching it and thought I had grown out of it. One year later, at the start of 2012, I quickly dispelled that notion and became fond of it again. I've been watching anime regularly since and continue to do so for enjoyment's sake as well as broadening my perspective.
I first created a list to keep track of anime because I was getting tired of trying to recall things like "Did I watch that in spring of 2007 or 2008?" Initially it started as a Word document in early 2012, and I eventually found out about MAL in December of that same year. MyAnimeList has become my primary archive and source of anime information/discussion since then.
