The Quest for Anime - Part 1: Let's Try This Again

Okay, so I know I'm not particularly good at this, but I want to give this another try and see if maybe this time I will stick with it... Hi! I'm still relatively new to anime, so I've come to MAL to learn about it, keep track of different series & progress, and branch out into this type of media. My goal is to just have fun doing something else other than gaming, since TV and movies aren't really my thing. Anime seems to be just my thing! At first I will keep it at light/easy comedy genre animes, with some bigger, more influential series (like Berserk) related to my online circles inbetween to keep things interesting. I took a look at some other blogs here on MAL for some inspiration on how to maintain mine, though most users seem to use their blogs for top tens and other personal lists, and less for writing about something. Hopefully my blog will be interesting to read and give you some insight into a new, casual anime viewer's thoughts. --- As of right now, I am re-watching my favorite anime, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu. Next to that, I am watching the first Berserk series(?) (Kenpuu Denki Berserk). I finished Bananya the other day (I didn't realize until a few episodes in that it was probably aimed towards kids... little kids... ^^"). Short episodes are great for me, as it makes finding the time to watch them a lot easier. Expect to see a few of those be mentioned! ...and then there is my huge PTW (Plan To Watch) list I'm working on. I've already started a few from there, to get things going. I will try to watch them all! --- Finally, I would like to say that I aim to never "drop" a series. I feel like I should still watch something, even if I maybe don't like it or if it's just bad. Helps cleanse the palate, as well as give one that additional experience one would miss out on if they didn't finish it. Just my point of view, though :) Comments and conversation are always welcome, so feel free to send me a recommendation or message if you like!
