So for some reason, I ended up moving around back in April, causing me to just drop watching anime almost entirely. I wanted to stick with it, but my schedule just couldn't fit it in. Still, I did watch a bit, so here's my document for 2019. Note some were completed, some were not.
Note again: This is WATCHED. A lot of it is older or more. I just got back into watching anime and needed to catch up.
What was Watched:
Kanon (2006)
-Still best anime ever. Undecided on Shiori or Nayuki best girl.
One Punch Man
-Alright concept, but not enough of what I was looking for. Despite that, last series of episodes was pretty hype. Not sure I'll continue into season 2.
Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
-Humorous and heart warming. Sometimes completely awesome. Ending felt like it was coming, but rushed when it did.
Made in Abyss
-Really good. Episode 10 was holy shit. Episode 13 was even more holy shit. Jumped to one of my favorites.
Laid-Back Camp
-Ultimate comf. Was exactly what I was looking for when I started. The backgrounds are orgasmic. Very heartwarming.
A Place Further Than the Universe
-I am feeling the emotion and the drive in this show.
Steins;Gate
-Opening fantastic. Loved so far. Instantly bought. "Kanon still best anime ever" Hold-my-beer anime.
Gurren Lagann
-Hot-blood and fanservice not my thing, but not dropping. Some episodes seem to take a downturn art wise. Half-way through started to get what it was, and the drive made me like it. Ended up matching the hype by the end.
Snow White with the Red Hair
-Pretty good. Shirayuki is a bad ass.
Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms
-Kind of a loss for words. I really liked it. Like, holy shit, this writer is so good. Fantasy+Emotional+Related to FFTactics (artist). Probably my favorite movie so far, at least, but I have Your Name sitting on my shelf (in a box).
Rising of the Shield Hero
-It was alright, entertaining at best. Some aspects of the story were good, but overall not all that special. Some plot points just made me go "you're all idiots, especially the 'smart' ones" one too many times. The party ended up as "how many anime tropes can we fit into the party." Not really caring about a second season.
K-on!
-Surprisingly more likable than I was expecting.
Love, Chuunibyo and Other Delusions!
-It's pretty good. Cringe but I guess in a humorous way.
Demon Slayer
-Typical shounen, except bloodier. Very good looking, though. Called the Yuki/Shiina music without even knowing it.
Watching into 2020:
