I remember on my first watch, the first ten minutes of this film really didn't make any sense; you're immediately put in media res
But now that I'm watching it for the second time, I'm kind of like oh meh I mean okayy??? I get what was going on in the beginning scene now, but I think the fun of it was not knowing what was going on??? you know what I mean???

I'm still so jealous of everyone who was able to watch this film in theaters because seriously like it must have been 75 times more fun to watch in theaters
I'm still hopeful that it'll end up showing in theaters near me one day because seriously my theater shows Tonari no Totoro / My Neighbor Totoro like 5 times every year lol so if they have the budget to do that, they definitely must have the budget for a third showing for this masterpiece seriously

It's not so bad though, because I can watch this version whenever I want like I don't even have to wait for this to go on Blu-Ray or DVD or anything. And the bootleg version I'm watching is a phone cam version of someone who's watching this in theaters soo... I technically feel like I'm in the theater??? And it was even the first showing in theaters so it's even with hardcore fans as well. It's just I haven't been in a theater for THE LAST SEVEN MONTHS not counting Christmas to watch Star Wars so I was in a serious shock when I went to watch Star Wars in theaters idk man
I want to try to download this phone cam version of this in all seriousness tbh before they replace it with the bluray/dvdrip version

I don't know if this is so important to state but I think it is imo
This is pretty much the first thing anime or whatnot that I have ever watched of Studio Trigger
Never watched Teppan something something Laggan, or Kill la Kill. But after I watched Promare for the first time, I've been seriously tempted to watch something like Kill la Kill or Teppan something whatever lol but never got around to it. But now while watching Promare the second time, I think I really will try to watch a Trigger anime for once idk

lol so there's a film critic on Rotten Tomatoes who said that Promare is that kind of film you want to watch like once a week and like honestly same lol
Also I will have to rewatch this, because I'm starting to realize I don't understand why Galo was even underground in what looks like a prison with Lio Fotia and the Burnish
god the music is such a +10 out of 10 omg love <3
