IMO the general rule of an objective review is do not criticize the basic of a show. Why? because it is what it is.
Do not blame a show if it start with a generic idea. do not blame an isekai show because it is an isekai and using the most generic unreasonable way to get mc isekai'd. That is fucking ridiculous.
IE in Tate no yuusha. do not whine about how generic and unreasonable a random guy teleported to a game like world, be a hero and save the world. That is literally the fucking basic of the show.
In another case Koi to uso. i dont mind the basic of the premise of the show, young men and women getting paired randomly by goverment, i see that really interesting.
What i didn't like is the direction, tone and character of the show, it somewhat not right and appaling.
so yeah, the point is do not blame the basic of a show, criticize the detail and contain of it.
