Maybe this is a weird thought
But honestly the first thing that came to mind for me when Naruto saved the village in episode 175 was "Wow that's seriously amazing! Honestly... shouldn't this already be enough to qualify Naruto to become Hokage? like seriously?"
But then I think about how Naruto isn't even a chunin which is the rank minimum qualified for leading squads and how there are still power hungry people in play like Danzo (or maybe just Danzo huh) and then how Tsunade isn't really officially retired, right? She's just in a long comatose? I hope? Actually there might even be a possibility that she might have died huh
But anyway, strength-wise, and the experience of being THE MAIN person to save the entire Leaf village, I feel like Naruto is more than qualified to become Hokage. But in terms of leadership, and age bc he really is too young, I guess I wouldn't qualify him to be Hokage... yet.
Someone on Reddit also said that they felt like Naruto really should have been split into three parts, original Naruto, something else which would have Shippuden episode 175 as the ending, then another idk but I agree I seriously felt like episode 175 should have been the true end of show and then made a new one after idk?
Someone else on Reddit said that the Pain arc really does feel like THE final arc of the series and I've got to agree it really does

I'm randomly remembering that filler episode when the Third Hokage was announcing the jounin and three genin assignments to the jounin only and then the Third Hokage was all like Kakashi Naruto and Sasuke and then someone was all like "What, are you planning on letting the Sharingan Uchiha control the Nine Tails?" and then Kakashi completely avoids the question and then the Third Hokage is all like "I hope your relations with Minato and Obito don't end up getting to you" or something like that (Then why even assign Kakashi to this team ?!?! Honestlu though lolol) for some reason I find that scene very hilarious and odd and strange like lol who says all this stuff really
Luckily this is all filler but really it does feel like something that really happened in the Narutoverse. I mean, am I really supposed to think that the Ino-Shika-Cho formation that ended up being all their children in one team is some kind of coincidence? I think not.

You know!! I used to actually seriously be convinced Naruto Shippuden opening 9 was purely an opening for only a filler arc. To think it's also during canon episodes is very strange to me for some reason
I don't know I'm sorry I'm just really really bored with this anime now
